The ✅ Community Referred badge is Look4Me's highest trust signal. It means two things: a real community member personally recommended the business, AND our team has reviewed and verified the listing details. It is not a professional certification — it is a genuine community recommendation. Always verify a business's credentials independently before engaging them.

Yes — use the suburb or postcode field on the homepage search. Results will show businesses located in that area, as well as businesses that service that area even if they are based elsewhere.

All listings go through an admin review before going live. Community Referred listings have an extra layer of trust — a real community member has personally recommended them. That said, we encourage you to do your own checks before engaging any business.

Email support@look4me.com.au with the business name and what you believe is incorrect. Our team will review and update within 48 hours. You can also use the Contact Us page.

Visit look4me.com.au/submit and sign in with Google — it's completely free. You can add your details by scanning your business card, importing from your phone contacts, or entering manually. Our team reviews listings within 24-48 hours. Once approved, you can manage your listing from your dashboard.

Most listings are reviewed and approved within 24-48 hours of submission. You will receive an email confirmation once your listing is live.

Yes — sign in with Google and go to your Dashboard then My Listing. You can update your contact details, business hours, address, website, and description. Changes are reviewed before going live again.

Yes, completely free. Look4Me is a community-driven directory — listing your business costs nothing. We may introduce optional premium features in the future, but the core directory will always be free.

We have 29 categories including Food and Catering, Finance and Mortgage, Real Estate, Education and Tutoring, Health and Wellness, Events, Photography, Building and Interiors, and many more. If your business does not fit an existing category, select Other and describe your service.

Referring a business takes less than 2 minutes. Visit look4me.com.au/refer and sign in with Google. You have five ways to add business details: 📷 Scan Business Card — take a photo and our AI reads the details automatically. This is the fastest method. 👥 From Your Contacts — pick directly from your phone contacts (Android Chrome). 📋 From My Contacts App — share a contact as a .vcf file. On iPhone: open Contacts, find the business, tap Share Contact. 🗺️ Search Google Maps — type the business name or paste a Google Maps link and we fill in all the details automatically. ✏️ Enter manually — type the details yourself. Once submitted, our team reviews the referral, notifies the business, and once verified it goes live. You'll earn a community badge!

Yes! This is the fastest way to refer a business. On the Refer page, tap 'Scan Business Card', point your camera at the card, and our AI automatically reads the name, phone, email, website, and address. You review the details before submitting — the whole process takes under 60 seconds.

Yes. On the Refer page, tap 'From My Contacts App' and follow these steps: 1. Open your iPhone Contacts app 2. Find the business contact 3. Tap Share Contact 4. Save the file and upload it on the Refer page The contact details will auto-fill the form. You'll just need to confirm the business name and select a category.

Yes — it's one of the easiest methods. On the Refer page, tap 'Search Google Maps', type the business name (add the suburb for better results), and select from the results. All details including address, phone, and website are filled in automatically from Google. You can also paste a Google Maps link directly.

Sign in and go to your dashboard at look4me.com.au/dashboard/referrals. You'll see all your referrals with their current status: pending review, approved, or live. You'll also receive an email notification when the status changes.

It means recommending a business you have personally used and trust — even if they do not know about Look4Me yet. You fill in their details and write a short testimonial. We review it, notify the business, and give you credit as a community contributor.

Referrals help build a trusted community directory. Every business you refer earns you community badges and moves you up the leaderboard. Plus, the business gets a Community Referred badge — the highest trust signal on Look4Me.

Step 1: You submit the referral form. Step 2: You get a confirmation email. Step 3: Our team reviews the referral. Step 4: We notify the business and invite them to claim their listing. Step 5: Once verified, the listing goes live with your Community Referred badge. Step 6: You earn community badges and leaderboard points.

As many as you like! The more you refer, the more badges you earn: 🌟 Community Starter for your first referral, 🏅 Local Champion for 5 referrals, 🥇 Community Leader for 10, 💎 Look4Me Legend for 25, and 🦁 Community Ambassador for 50 referrals.

The Trust Engine is Look4Me's community rewards system. Every time you contribute to the community — referring a business, vouching for one, writing a review, or signing in daily — you earn points. Points unlock ranks and new abilities. The more you contribute, the more trusted and recognised you become in the community.

You earn points for:

• A business claiming via your referral (+50 pts)
• Vouching for a business with Thumbs Up (+3 pts) — requires Rank 2

Thumbs Up lets you vouch for businesses you have personally used. It's different from a review — it's a quick one-tap signal that says you've used this business and trust them. Each business shows how many community members have vouched for it. You need to reach Rank 2 (Local Scout, 50 points) to use this feature.

Once you reach Rank 3 (Community Helper, 200 points), you can write reviews for businesses you have used. Visit any business listing page and tap Write a review. Select a star rating, optionally add quick tags and a written comment. Reviews earn you 5–10 points, with a bonus for detailed written comments.

Sign in and go to your Dashboard then Profile. You'll see your current rank, total points, progress to the next rank, daily streak, contribution summary, and full points history.

Sign in every day to build a streak. Each sign-in earns +1 point. Sign in 7 days in a row for a +10 bonus, and 30 days in a row earns a +50 bonus. Your streak resets if you miss a day.

No — you can browse and search the directory without an account. You only need to sign in to refer a business, manage your listing, track your referrals, or earn badges.

Look4Me uses Google Sign-In — no password needed. You can sign in three ways: 1. Click the Sign In button in the top right corner 2. A Google One Tap popup appears automatically on most pages — just tap your account name 3. Click Continue with Google on the Refer or List pages After signing in you'll return to the same page automatically.

Your mobile number is optional and collected only for future communication purposes such as SMS notifications. It is never displayed publicly and never shared with third parties. You can skip this and add it later from your profile.

Yes — email support@look4me.com.au with your request. We will delete your account and associated data within 7 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Yes. We use Google Sign-In so no passwords are stored, and we only collect your name and email from Google. Your mobile number if provided is stored securely and never shared with third parties. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.

Google Sign-In lets us link referrals to you so you can track them and earn badges. It also helps prevent spam and fake listings. We only use your name and email address — we never post anything to your Google account or share your data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Depending on your preferences, you may receive referral submission confirmations, notifications when referred businesses go live, badge earned announcements, and listing approval or update requests. All emails can be managed from your Notification Preferences page.

Sign in then go to Dashboard then Notification Preferences. You can turn off all emails with the master toggle, or control individual email types separately.

Never. We only send emails related to your activity on Look4Me such as referrals, listings, and badges. We do not sell or share your email with third parties. Ever.

Not yet — Look4Me is currently a mobile-responsive web app which means it works great on any phone browser. A dedicated iOS and Android app is on our roadmap.

We currently focus on Australia, starting with Sydney and NSW. We are expanding to other cities and states — if you would like to see Look4Me in your area, start referring local businesses!
