Look4Me ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our website look4me.com.au.

Information you provide directly

• Name, email, and phone number when submitting or referring a business listing
• Google account information when signing in with Google (name, email, profile photo)
• Business details submitted through our forms

When you use the business card scanning feature, you may choose to take a photo or upload an image from your device. This image is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI API for text extraction only. The image is processed to extract business contact information and is not stored by Look4Me or Anthropic beyond the duration of the API request. We do not store, share, or use your photos for any other purpose.

When you use the "From Your Contacts" or "From My Contacts App" features, only the specific contact details you select and choose to share are used to pre-fill the referral form. We do not access, read, or store your broader contacts list. The contact data you share is used solely to populate the business referral form and is subject to the same data handling as any manually entered information.

When you use the Google Maps search or link features, we query the Google Places API to retrieve business information. This data — including business name, address, phone number, website, coordinates, and opening hours — is stored in our database and associated with the business listing. This data is sourced from Google and is subject to Google's Terms of Service. We store a Google Place ID to identify and update listings over time.

Look4Me uses Anthropic's Claude AI to power the business card scanning feature and the Lena chat assistant. When you interact with these features, your input (image or text) is processed by Anthropic's API. Conversations with Lena may be stored to improve response quality. We do not share personally identifiable information with Anthropic beyond what is necessary to provide the service. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy at anthropic.com/privacy for more information.

If you enable push notifications, we store a push subscription token associated with your account. This token is used only to send you notifications about your referrals, listings, and badges. You can disable push notifications at any time from your device settings or from your Look4Me notification preferences.

• Business listing details (name, phone, suburb, service) are displayed publicly on Look4Me

• We may share data with service providers (Google for authentication, hosting providers) solely to operate the platform

We use the following third party services to operate Look4Me. Each processes personal data as described:

• Google LLC — Authentication (Google Sign-In), Maps (address lookup and mapping), and Analytics (anonymized usage data). Your name, email address, and profile photo are shared with Google during sign-in. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
• Anthropic PBC — AI assistant (Lena chat). Queries you submit to Lena are processed by Anthropic's servers. Privacy policy: anthropic.com/privacy
• Resend Inc — Email delivery. Your email address and name are shared to deliver transactional emails. Privacy policy: resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Replit Inc — Application hosting and database. Your data is stored on Replit's infrastructure in accordance with their security practices. Privacy policy: replit.com/privacy

Look4Me's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Look4Me offers an AI assistant named Lena to help you find businesses and answer questions about the platform. Please note:

• Lena is an AI, not a human. You are chatting with an automated assistant, not a member of our team.
• The questions and conversation content you submit to Lena are sent to and processed by Anthropic's Claude API in order to generate responses.
• Avoid sharing sensitive personal information in your chat messages, as they are processed by this third party service.

Anthropic processes this data in accordance with its own privacy policy, available at anthropic.com/privacy.

• When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google
• We use this only to create and manage your Look4Me account
• We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, or any other Google services

• Your data is stored securely on our servers
• We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information
• No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure

We retain your personal data for the following periods:

• User account data: Until you request deletion of your account
• Business listing information: Indefinitely while the listing remains active, or until removal is requested
• Contact form submissions: 12 months from submission date
• Analytics data: 26 months (Google Analytics default)
• Push notification tokens: Until you unsubscribe or the token becomes invalid
• Email notification preferences: Until your account is deleted
• Referral data: Indefinitely while the referred business remains listed

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@look4me.com.au. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Look4Me takes data security seriously. In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to affected individuals, we will:

1. Notify affected individuals as soon as practicable
2. Notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) within 30 days of becoming aware of the breach
3. Provide information about the breach and recommended steps to minimise potential harm

This is in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
